The Bi-fold Door has widths as narrow as 36” to a maximum width of 252” and heights from 32-15/16” up to 97-5/8”. Marvin’s Lift and Slide Door has widths up to 46 feet wide and heights up to 12 feet. Virtually unmatched design flexibility with a wide variety of standard configurations. The ideal solution for indoor/outdoor luxury living—Marvin’s smart, stylish Bi-fold Door and Lift and Slide Door both opens wide to infuse a space with fresh air and spectacular views.

New! Clad Ultimate Glider Reinvents The Sliding Window
Marvin Windows and Doors has released the Clad Ultimate Glider. The Clad Ultimate Glider’s innovation and performance will completely change the way people think about sliding windows. Marvin redesigned the glider to achieve higher DP ratings and developed new hardware that makes the sash easier to operate and remove.
The Clad Ultimate Glider features a Marvin exclusive hardware system, allowing for one handed operation of the multi-point lock system. The Multi-point lock system is on Gliders with a frame size heights of above 30”. On Gliders below the size heights of 30” they contain one lock. The lock handle acts as a pull for operating the window. When closed, the operating sash locks automatically. The unique system also includes indicator tabs to assure customers the lock is fully engaged.
Available in all Marvin 19 exterior clad colors, 7 wood species and 8 hardware finishes. The Clad Ultimate Glider’s clean design offers more application possibilities by allowing for different sash ratios, divided lite patterns, and/or glazing for each sash. The Clad Ultimate Glider also delivers superior performance with an air, water and structural design pressure rating up to a WDMA certified LC-50 and NFRC certified thermal values of 0.30 u-value and 0.30 SHGC using LoE-272 w/argon.

Available are all 19 of Marvin’s exterior clad colors, 7 wood species and 8 hardware finishes. The Clad Ultimate Glider has clean site lines to complement other Marvin Windows. There is incredible design flexibility with operating
configurations. You may choose from Beige, White or Black weather strip and choose a beige or white track color. Also available are different sash ratios, divided lite patterns, and/or glazing for each sash. Clad Ultimate Glider’s are available in standard sizes or by the united inch pricing, and have concealed pre-marked fastener locations to simplify through-the-jamb installation.
CN 7/0 Height Introduced As Standard For Ultimate Sliding French Door
Marvin Ultimate Sliding French Doors are available as standard 7/0 CN height. This CN (call number) is available across all USFD panel widths and operating configurations.
Standard Features of the Clad Ultimate Sliding French Door are many. All nineteen clad colors (standard and select) are standard, and the exterior of the panel and frame is extruded aluminum. The USFD have a treated bare pine interior (or primed). They have LVL (laminated veneer lumber) core at lock stiles. Glass, Tempered IG Low E II with argon. Top rail and stiles are 4-3/43” overall and the bottom rail is 8-1/83 overall on all heights. It’s non-keyed stainless steel 2-point locking system along with the Beige Ultrex-sill, with oak sill liner, and beige weather strip, are standard offerings. All doors are a standard setup – KD optional. Optional top hung screen systems surround is available in all nineteen clad colors (standard and select). Vinyl drip cap and nailing fins come installed or you can have installation brackets in lieu of vinyl nailing fins at no additional cost.

All doors are a standard setup – KD optional. Optional top hung screen systems surround is available in all nineteen clad colors (standard and select).
5/8” SDL Becomes a Standard Option
Marvin is pleased to announce the addition of 5/8” SDL (Simulated Divided Lite). The 5/8” SDL will join the 7/8” and 1-1/8” SDL as a standard selectable option. Additionally, any glass type, lite pattern or bar profile with 7/8” SDL, will also be available in 5/8” SDL. This includes both with Spacer Bar and without Spacer Bar options.
To be more competitive, 5/8” will now be priced the same as current with 7/8” SDL on all Marvin window products and the same as special 7/8” SDL on all Marvin doors.
FINAL NOTIFICATION Marvin Clad Glider Obsolescence
The Marvin Clad Glider was discontinued on February 28, 2011 upon the release of the Clad Ultimate Glider. Marvin Clad Gliders will require prior approval to be made, and be subjected to a 25% increase after the product change. Non-warranty replacement sash will also incur a 25% price increase. Marvin Wood Gliders will continue to be available with no changes in product.
Marvin will maintain inventory and continue to be able to produce Marvin Glider sash and frame for warranty replacements.

The Window Shopping app is a tool to help homeowners plan basic designs for windows and doors, inside and outside the house. After taking a photo of an interior or exterior space that could use an upgrade, the app user can choose from nearly 50 resizable photos of Marvin windows and doors, arrange them over the photo, and save or send the photo to share with friends, family or to our Marvin Design Gallery.
